Review by hotel critic
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ca' Dei Leoni during Easter, a charming hotel set in a beautifully restored ancient inn in the Cannaregio district. Tucked away in a tranquil residential area, this delightful establishment offers an exceptional blend of personalized service courtesy of a wonderful father-and-son duo, who embody warmth and hospitality. The rooms, each named after revered Venetian painters, exude comfort, with ample space for my travel companions and me to unwind after exploring nearby attractions like the Rialto Bridge, which is just a short walk away. Enjoying the generous continental breakfast in their serene garden was a highlight, replenishing us for our days of discovery in Venice's captivating canals. As an archaeologist, I appreciated not only the historical charm of the inn but also its convenient location near essential transport links, making it easy to delve into the rich tapestry of Venice’s culture and history. I wholeheartedly recommend Ca' Dei Leoni for both the leisurely traveler and those with a curious mind eager to explore this stunning city.
